Donna Rosa Passerina del Frusinate

Passerina del Frusinate is a white grape from central Italia, and La Visciola makes it in Lazio alongside its Cesanese reds. The family behind the estate is Rosa, Piero and Cecilia. This is not trying to be Chablis, and that is a good thing. Wine is more interesting when it does not all taste the same.
 
 A serious white, with a small part spending a few days on the skins. Open it with bold dishes and do not be too cautious. It can handle more food than many whites.
