Overview
This website and online store (the “Services”) are operated by Corkin. Throughout this document, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Corkin. By visiting our site, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the Services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”), together with any policies referenced herein (including our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
These Terms apply to all users of the Services, including browsers, customers, merchants, and contributors of content. We may change these Terms from time to time; updates will be posted here. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc.. For details about Shopify’s terms, data practices and hosting, see Shopify’s Terms of Service and Shopify’s Privacy Policy.
Section 1 - Access & Account
By using the Services you represent that you are the age of majority in your jurisdiction or that you have parental/guardian permission to use the Services. To create an account or place orders you may need to provide your name, email, billing/shipping address and payment information. You warrant that all information you submit is accurate, current and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity on your account.
You may not assign or transfer your account without our prior written consent.
Section 2 - Order & Acceptance
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline orders at our discretion. An order is accepted only when we send an order confirmation (or otherwise confirm acceptance). We may refuse or cancel orders for reasons including but not limited to product unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or problems with payment.

Section 3 - Prices, Taxes & Billing
Prices, promotions, and discounts may change without notice. The price charged is the one shown at the time of order and in your order confirmation. Unless stated, prices exclude taxes, shipping, and any customs/import duties. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date payment and billing information and to promptly update it if it changes.
Section 4 - Shipping & Delivery
Shipping times and delivery estimates are provided for convenience only and are not guaranteed. Once items are handed to the carrier, title and risk of loss typically pass to you in accordance with the applicable shipping terms. We are not liable for carrier delays, customs processing, or events beyond our control.
Section 5 - Product & Availability
We make reasonable efforts to display product colors and descriptions accurately, but we cannot guarantee exact representation on your device. We may limit quantities, discontinue products, or refuse sales to resellers and dealers at our discretion. Offers are void where prohibited.
Section 6 - Intellectual Property
All content on the Services — including text, designs, graphics, logos, images, audio, and video — is owned by Corkin or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may use content only for personal, non-commercial purposes unless you have obtained written permission. Trademarks and other rights remain the property of their respective owners.
Section 7 - Optional Third-Party Tools & Links
The Services may include links to third-party websites and tools, which we do not control. Use of third-party tools is at your own risk and subject to the third party’s terms. We are not responsible for third-party site content, privacy practices, or transactions.
Section 8 - Relationship With Shopify
Corkin is powered by Shopify. Shopify provides the e-commerce platform, but is not the seller — sales are made with Corkin. Shopify is not responsible for transactions between Corkin and users. For Shopify’s privacy and data handling, see Shopify’s policies.
Section 9 - Feedback, Comments & User Submissions
If you submit feedback, ideas, reviews, or other content (collectively, “Feedback”), you grant Corkin a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, and publish such Feedback for any purpose. You represent that you own or have rights to the Feedback and that it doesn’t violate third-party rights.
We may, at our discretion, monitor, edit or remove user-submitted content that violates these Terms.
Section 10 - Prohibited Uses
You must use the Services lawfully. Prohibited activity includes (but is not limited to): unlawful purposes, infringement, harassment, transmitting malware, scraping, spamming, impersonation, circumventing security features, and collecting personal data of others without consent. Violation may lead to account suspension or termination.
Section 11 - Warranty Disclaimer
Except as expressly stated, the Services and products are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Corkin disclaims all warranties (express or implied), including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some exclusions may not apply to you.
Section 12 - Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Corkin and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising from your use of the Services or products purchased via the Services. Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Section 13 - Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Corkin, Shopify, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, violation of applicable law, or use of the Services.
Section 14 - Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time and for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Termination does not relieve you of outstanding obligations. Sections that by their nature survive termination (e.g., Intellectual Property, Indemnification, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) will remain in effect.
Section 15 - Severability, Waiver & Entire Agreement
If a provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent required or severed, and the rest of the Terms remain in effect. Failure to enforce any right does not constitute waiver. These Terms and policies posted on the Services form the entire agreement between you and Corkin.
Section 16 - Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. For disputes, the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
Section 17 - Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on the Services and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be notified as required by law. Your continued use after posting constitutes acceptance.
Section 18 - Privacy & Personal Data
Our processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy https://corkin.nl/policies/privacy-policy. That Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, third-party disclosures, cookies, your rights, retention, and transfer mechanisms. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding personal data, the Privacy Policy controls.

Internal complaint procedure and timescales
- Send your complaint to hello@corkin.nl with your order number, details, and any photos if applicable.
- We will confirm receipt within 7 calendar days.
- We will aim to provide a substantive response within 30 calendar days. If more time is needed, we will inform you and explain the expected timeline.
Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) — EU & Netherlands
If we cannot resolve the matter directly, you may submit a complaint via the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/
For consumers in the Netherlands, you may also contact the Dutch ADR body for online purchases https://www.degeschillencommissie.nl/
Our ADR participation: Corkin seeks to resolve complaints amicably and is willing to participate in ADR procedures (including the EU ODR platform and the Geschillencommissie) in accordance with applicable law.
Using an ADR body does not affect your right to start legal proceedings where applicable under mandatory law.
