Tuttu

"Tuttu" means "everything" in Sicilian. And for Dario, "Tuttu" is the wine of origins. Before the arrival of modern viticulture, vineyards were never monovarietal. In every vineyard, there coexisted a main part, consisting of the most widespread autochthonous variety (in this case the Nero d'Avola), and a secondary part that gathered the other varieties from the viticultural tradition of the region. This was done so that, even in the most challenging years, the farmer would never be left without a harvest: there was always a grape variety better able to withstand the difficulties of the year. They used all the grape varieties they cultivated to make their wine because the land they cultivated was "Tuttu," everything they had. This wine is dedicated to them.
