We find ourselves in the Valle dei Platani, in the province of Agrigento, a region of Sicilia so isolated that it almost reminds us of the places where episodes of Hercules were filmed. The territory is rich in chalk. Giuseppe started his little reality from scratch, and the quality of the wines is extremely high. There is a significant fluctuation in temperature between day and night, even though we are in Sicilia, as we are inland and at considerable altitudes. The Solfare is the only white wine of the winery, and it is certainly a very serious white, not a beach wine. You can feel all the rock in this wine.
