Magnum Pramartel

This is Pramartel in magnum, the younger-brother wine of Antoniotti’s Bramaterra. The vineyards are younger, and the blend is classic Alto Piemonte: mostly Nebbiolo with Uva Rara and Vespolina. Same world, bigger bottle, and yes, this was our first magnum.
 
Fruity and floral on the nose, then savoury on the palate. Very Piemonte, very good with meat or mushroom dishes. A magnum makes the table feel more generous before the first glass is poured.
