Cala Iancu
The sound of Grillo
Cala Iancu is a Mediterranean white from the eastern part of Sicilia. Il Mortellito blends native island grapes, Grillo and Catarratto, on calcareous soils that give the wine a salty edge. Simple facts, very clear result: island white with the sea not far away.
Fish and white meat are the natural pairings. Best served seafront, if life is kind. At home in Haarlem, a plate of seafood will also do the job.
Our first little one has arrived, and we're over the moon!
As you can imagine, these first days are very special (and a little sleepless!), so until 15 August we may be a bit slower than usual in shipping your orders.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. Supporting a small family business means more than you know, and we can't wait to be back to our normal pace very soon.
