Barolo Rocche dell’Annunziata
Barolo from a serious spot
Since 2009, the Barolo area has been divided into 181 MGA, Menzioni Geografiche Aggiuntive, the official crus. Rocche dell’Annunziata in La Morra is without doubt one of the best hills among them, and Trediberri makes its Barolo right there. Elegance, softness and structure in the same glass. Not a common combination.
Tannin, structure and acidity, all in balance. It is excellent to drink today, but if you can wait five years or more, it becomes a fantastic bottle. Cook something great, then accept that the wine will still steal the show. This is a wine for contemplation.
