San Martino

San Martino is Nebbiolo, but not the usual Langhe version. The vintage, the different area and Daniele Ricci’s way of making wine bring out a softer, less austere side of the grape. Still Nebbiolo, just with a different accent.
 
This is gastronomic wine. It has substance and wants the table, because that is how Italians drink. Pasta al ragù or steak would make your day.
