Tango

Manuel Marinacci makes an atypical Nebbiolo in the Barbaresco area. The skins stay in contact with the wine for only a few days, less than usual for Nebbiolo, so the tannins are gentler. Only about 2,000 bottles are made, and the alcohol stays low. A Piemonte red with the volume turned down.
 
Dangerously smooth, in the best way. It can even work with fish, which is not the usual Nebbiolo move. Serve it a little chilled in summer and it becomes very easy to understand.
