The Carso region in Friuli Venezia Giulia is home to the Vitovska grape, where Paolo Vodopivec is the master of this indigenous variety. In this extreme terroir, where vines grow directly on rock, Vodopivec is committed to crafting high-quality wines that embody the rugged nature of the land.
Although the wine undergoes 15 days of maceration, it’s not your typical orange wine (despite being categorized as one). Origine reflects its birthplace, Carso: ROCK. One of Italia’s finest whites.
