Sexy Barbera

Barbera is one of Piemonte’s main red grapes, next to Nebbiolo and Dolcetto. It is known for acidity, which simply means it keeps the wine lively and cuts through rich food. Poderi Colla is one of the historic names of the Langhe, so this is Barbera made with a steady hand.
 
That lively acidity is exactly why it loves stews and slow-cooked food. Open it when the dish is juicy, saucy or rich, and the wine will do its job.
