Barolo del Comune di La Morra

La Morra often gives Barolo a softer side, and that is exactly why this bottle works so well. Crissante Alessandria makes a traditional Nebbiolo from one of the most loved villages in the Barolo area, without turning it into something stiff or distant. It is still Barolo, just with the door open.
 
The tannins are soft for Barolo, more like a good Italian suit than a wall. Open it with braised meat, mushroom pasta or aged cheese. Piemonte food, basically. Fidati.
