Massimo Coletti

Not all Prosecco is created equal.

Massimo Coletti

Massimo Coletti’s wines are stories in a bottle. For generations, his family grew grapes in San Fior, only to sell them to the local cooperative, a system widely used where small growers pool fruit together, losing their own identity in the process. In 2006, Massimo convinced his father to take a risk: keep the grapes, make their own wine, and put the family name on the label. Soon after, love carried him to Champagne and then Brussels, but between commutes home, Parisian restaurant tables, and a small natural wine shop in Belgium, Massimo eventually returned to his roots, where he now makes beautiful wines.

Today, Phoja remains true to those beginnings: old Glera vines grown without chemicals, using an ancient local method of vine cultivation called Bellussera, harvested by hand, fermented with native yeasts, and bottled in small volumes. Light, floral, and citrusy, it’s the kind of Prosecco that proves simplicity can be both bold and beautiful.
