We find ourselves in the Valle dei Platani, in the province of Agrigento, a region of Sicilia so isolated that it almost reminds us of the places where episodes of Hercules were filmed. The territory is rich in chalk. Giuseppe started his little reality from scratch, and the quality of the wines is extremely high. There is a significant fluctuation in temperature between day and night, even though we are in Sicilia, as we are inland and at considerable altitudes. Le Robbe is a red wine from 80% Nero d’Avola (a red variety) and 20% other native white grapes. Maceration varies from 1 to 3 days. A little historical insight: back in the day, it was normal to mix red and white grapes. You can truly taste Sicilia with this wine.

Taste & Experience
Intense aromas of Nero d'Avola jump out of the glass. The freshness takes the lead, tannins without exaggeration. Suitable for savoury-saucy dishes with good structure.
