Together they produce around 1,500 bottles of this Roero (100% Nebbiolo grape) each year, from soils shaped by the Rocche, the steep sandstone ravines that have eroded over centuries into the distinct landscape of this appellation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe tannins are smoother than a Barolo or Barbaresco, and the wine opens up without much fuss. Red berries, a thread of violet, an easy lightness in the structure.
